Ben Roethlisber is Worse Than Imagined

The Smoking Gun got hold of the Georgia Police reports on the Roethlisberger incident. And let me just say....they are bad.

The night started off at a club called the Velvet Elvis Supper Club. It is an establishment so classy that they have a Myspace page in lieu of an actual website.  Perfect place for a 27yr old NFL Quarterback to be hanging out.  Big Ben was there apparently posing for photographs with women, as he often likes to do

The victim and her 2 friends then hopped from there to a place called the The Brick, where they proceeded to talk to Big Ben at the bar for about 30-45 minutes.  After leaving Brick, the girls moved on to Capital City where all the drama proceeded to go down.  FYI: If you're a NFL Superbowl winning quarterback worth $100mil, aren't you going to places that are a little more high end than this joint? WHY are you in Milledgville, GA AT ALL? But I digress.

When the girls arrived at Capital City, Big Ben was already there in the "VIP" Room with about 15-20 girls, buying shots.  Again, so classy.  Way to be, Big Ben.  You are plying underage females with free shots.  Can't afford an open tab so the girls can order what they want?  One of Big Ben's bodyguards proceeded to drag/guide the victim to a side door.  At that point the victim's friend noticed Big Ben headed back that way.

The friends were, rightfully, concerned about their seriously inebriated friend who was now alone with at 250lb intoxicated quarterback.  Rocky, the manager of the club, seemed pretty unconcerned.

How sadly ironic is Rocky's comment? Also - just being at a bar with a bunch of underage undergrad girls would ruin any other NFL quarterback's reputation.  When the friend caught up victim, this is what the victim had to say:
Are you KIDDING ME? He walked up to her with his dick out in public? THIS MAN IS A SEXUAL DEVIANT. He seriously be suspended for the entire season. The story then takes a tragic turn into  all-too-familiar territory.
Being the starting quarterback of any NFL Franchise is a responsibility one should not take lightly.  And it is one that MOST athletes take very, very seriously.  Recently Drew Brees said the following about his role as quarterback: "I play football, I'm not a politician. But if anything I'm just a concerned citizen who also recognizes that I have a platform as a professional athlete and as a quarterback of this football team."  Drew has done his part by starting a foundation which builds playgrounds and funds activities for children.

When you think about the good works from people like Drew Brees, or Peyton Manning, or even Mark Sanchez and compare it to what Ben Roethlisberger does during his offseason, it just makes me absolutely sick.  He is basically a monster.  Roger Goodell, do your part and suspend him for a year.
