Jeremy Shockey

M-Nolia (this is how I'm going to refer to my co-writer 'Magnolia' from here on out so this blog isn't inadvertently flagged as "adult content" on workplace screening programs) told me to check out some photos Jeremy Shockey had posted of himself on facebook in an album entitled "random pics.."

Random was DEFINITELY the correct word to describe the assortment he had collected. The photos ranged from "shots of Jeremy Shockey without a shirt on" to "photos of celebrities and their children, neither of which are Jeremy Shockey." But then there were these:



Do you remember way back when you were in high school? And you attended awkward high school dances? And you ended up in a photograph with 23 other people, and there was always that ONE GUY in the back of the picture who you didn't recognize who obviously just jumped in the photo at the last minute? Well that guy is Jeremy Shockey.

What is confusing to me is that Jeremy Shockey is a NFL PLAYER. Doesn't that make him the biggest celebrity of the bunch? In the 3rd photo, why is he taking 2nd fiddle to the guy in the Hawaiian shirt who looked like he just left a RPG/Dungeons and Dragons party?

J.Shock - you are a World Champion. Please do not stand awkwardly in the back of photos anymore. It is undignified.
